Terms and Conditions

GENERAL:

  1. Fees paid shall also include GST (18%).
  2. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES THE PAID FEES WILL BE REFUNDED.
  3. Queens Gambit Chess Academy has the right to publish the students name and photo in its social media platform in case of any achievements done by the kid. 

AGE CRITERIA:


Queens Gambit Chess Academy strictly follows the age criteria for both online and offline group & 1-1 classes.


Group classes: more than 7 years & less than 15 years


One-on-One: >5.5 years

Group Classes:

  1. Group Classes are taken with a minimum 12 to 15 kids.
  2. Please ensure good connectivity of Internet
  3. ALL STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO KEEP THE CAMERA TURNED ON DURING THE WHOLE OF THE SESSION
  4. NO COMPENSATION WILL BE PROVIDED FOR ANY CLASSES MISSED BY THE KIDS
  5. The minimum age for a group class is >7 years but <15 years.
  6. It is our policy not to do Demo classes for Group sessions as it may disturb the existing set of students.
  7. For offline classes, Queens Gambit Chess Academy shall decide to conduct few sessions in online mode due to circumstances (like weather, maintenance in the academy etc.,) and such information will also be shared in WhatsApp groups or by other means.

One-on-One Classes:

  1. Video should be turned on for whole of the class the same is mandatory.
  2. In case of class cancellation, the coach should be informed well in advance, if the same is not done such classes will be considered as taken and no compensation shall be conducted for the same.
  3. Only paid demo session is available for 1-1 classes. Demo will be one full class of 1 hour (60 minutes).

Special Consideration for Younger Children:

  • The minimum age requirement for group classes is above 7 years, and for one-on-one sessions, it is above 5.5 years.
  • However, in special cases, children younger than the minimum age may be considered only upon a parent’s request and approval by the academy.
  • If a child under 5.5 years is admitted, they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the entire session, whether online or offline.
  • For all groups of children, a parent or guardian must be present throughout the session to ensure engagement and discipline.
  • Any issues or concerns regarding the child’s participation must be reported to the management as soon as possible.
